Manos welcomes new artist! Signe was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Arizona nearly 20 years ago. she found she had an affinity for the desert, with its bare rocks and sharp edges, and has enjoyed painting and drwing the scenery around her ever since. While she graduated from MSU with a dual major in English and Fine Art, she is largely a self-taught artist. Always facinated by the strong contrasts of black and white art, she works mostly in pencil and has developed an interest in block-printing. Signe works as a computer illustrator for a textbook company in Tucson.
